MINUTES OF VIRTUAL ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Held on Saturday 14 November 2020 at 16:30 via Zoom

The AGM commenced at 4:30 pm with 13 members present.

Apologies were received from Angie Blowman, Peter Rush, Susan Gibson, Dave Farrow and Roy and Ann O’Neil

Minutes of the AGM held on 19^th November, 2019 were unanimously agreed to be an accurate record.

Matters Arising: There were no matters arising from the minutes.

ADOPTION OF THE ANNUAL REPORTS

Officers’ Annual Reports were circulated in advance with the Agenda so members had a chance to study them.

The reports were adopted – unanimously agreed

ADOPTION OF THE ANNUAL ACCOUNTS

The Annual Accounts were circulated in advance with the Agenda so members had a chance to study them.

The annual accounts were adopted - unanimously agreed.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS

The Committee members agreed to continue to serve in their posts and were re-elected en-block. This was unanimously agreed.

Note was taken that Susan Chilton and Paul Harvey would like to stand down from their roles next year.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS

Bernie submitted a query prior to the meeting asking if for the next programme it would be possible to have a basic programme which could be printed for an overview of the walks available.

Malcolm explained that this can be printed off from the Portsmouth Ramblers website by going to the walk tab on the top tool bar and clicking on walks programme. This provides a list of all upcoming walks with the possibility to print from the print icon on the RHS of the page.

There being no further business the meeting closed at 5 pm.
